Our Boiler is broken they came to do a quote to fix or replace said they would get back to us which they didn't no reply to email when we chased this up. We have 2 Children and been over a week with no heating and hot water don't waste your time.
Spot on firm. My immersion heater was leaking from two of the Essex Flanges and was damaging my ceiling. The heater was old and basically replacing the flanges was going to result in the same problem reoccurring further down the line in my opinion. I did not want to pay for a replacement using Essex flanges again. At the the same time I work abroad and was due to go away within the next seven days. I did not want to leave my Wife and Daughter with a leaky immersion heater. Hall and Featherstone were brilliant. I called them out on the Tuesday at which time they effected a temporary repair, by Thursday they had obtained a bespoke made Immersion Heater with brazed fittings and had it installed by 2 pm the same day. Friendly professional service, Tom and Nick even washed their cups before leaving. This is the second time we have used Hall and Featherstone and would not hesitate to recommend them to anybody be they friends or family. Cannot recommend highly enough.
I have used Hall & Featherstone on a number of occasions, most recently for all my plumbing on a full house refurbishment, always provided excellent service and a quality job. I think some reviews on here are unfair and sound more like miss communications. Highly Recommend H&F.
Very disappointing. We had a lovely job done by them last year so I hoped to have my boiler service completed by them as I had received such good service previously. This time my experience was completely different. My phone rang and the person who had come to service the boiler was outside my house at 8.30am. He was supposed to be there between 9.00am and 10.00am. I told him where I was and that I was going to be between 5 and 10 minutes. I arrived 8 minutes later to find he had gone even though I had checked with him that he would be able to wait. Having spoken to the office they gave me the impression he was in Market Weighton and would come to me now. 20 minutes later I rang them and he was in the middle of a job but apparently the engineer had told them I wouldn't be in until 9.00 am. I now don't trust them and they won't be coming here to service my boiler or indeed to carry out any other work. Don't use, unless you want to be messed about.
We've just had a brilliant experience with this team and can't recommend them enough. They fitted a brand new boiler and new hot water tank to a very high standard, changing 37 year old piping in the process. The plumbers were friendly, respectful, efficient and very neat. They are a busy firm but very well worth the wait. We've used them for other jobs in our home too and won't hesitate to use them again. Thanks.
