Chris has taught my son for 3 years, since he was 4, he is still interested and engaged, progressing well, which I put down to his relaxed and easy style. He is patient but gives definite goals as well as being punctual and flexible.
Chris has been teaching me piano and music theory since 2013. At that time I hadn't played piano for about 15 years, so whilst I had a grounding in music, I had to re-learn pretty much everything. Chris teaches piano and music really well, and whilst we have fun in lessons he has pushed me further than any teacher I've had in the past. He has a really clear way of explaining things, and has a great attention to detail which has helped me improve my performances and in my confidence as a pianist. Chris has been teaching my elder daughter for over four years now and my younger daughter for almost two. I've been impressed by his patience and his ability to relate to the children. He is encouraging without being over ly pushy and spends time trying ensure that that the girls enjoy their lessons. I've found him very flexible with lesson timings and he had always been reliable.
